Balancer originates from my experiment to play black keys with the left hand and white keys with the right hand with the hands stretching over/above each other. This way there seems to be more interaction between both hands. As if the hands are talking to each other instead of the usual right: melody and left: accompaniment.
The music and the interlocking of hands over each other above the white-black keys reminds me most of balancing stones stacked on top of each other.
